Bishop's Appeal 2012

The Diocese is not a building, or an office. WE are the Diocese of Oakland — 170,000 Catholic families of the East Bay working together to make a difference for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Each of us is a member of the Body of Christ and share in the work of the Church. We are called to be good stewards of the many blessings God has bestowed upon us for His glory and for the good of our neighbor. We do this in a special way by participating in our parish ministries, and by supporting diocesan efforts through the Bishop’s Ap-peal. Gifts to the Bishop's Appeal support larger ministries, services and outreach throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties giving all members of the diocese the ability to touch the lives of thousands.
